pirates?
The ideas behind Pirate
Wisdom are based on our observation that every work
environment is a political ecosystem. Pirate Wisdom
helps you recognize and navigate the political waters
in which you sail every day, and do so artfully, playfully,
and purposefully. Above all, Pirate Wisdom helps you
become savvier at managing people and relationships,
which are the perennially political dimensions of any
organization, and the stuff at which pirates particularly
excel.
In our book, Pirate Wisdom, we walk you through the
initial lessons we teach in Pirate School: the theory
and rationale of pirating; first steps , including getting
to know yourself, your queen (or king), your crew, your
ship and the waters in which you choose to sail; how
to develop and manage a crew; sailing your ship; navigating
political waters; maintaining safe port; and finding
and enjoying your treasure.
